Uma Thurman is a ’’hopeless romantic.’’

The "Kill Bill" beauty - who is currently dating billionaire businessman Arpad Busson - has been divorced twice, from actors Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke, but says she still believes in fairytale romance.

She said: "I think we have to keep subscribing to the fairytale until we find it. I’m a true believer. I’ve been told, by a very good source, that I’m a hopeless romantic."

"I always thought I was very cynical because I have quite a biting sense of humor, but a real professional has diagnosed me as the furthest thing from it."

Uma - who has a nine-year-old daughter Maya and six-year-old son Levon with Ethan - also revealed she has never been happier. She added to the Sunday Times Culture Magazine: "I’m honestly happier now than I have been at any other time in my life, and I think optimism is what has given me longevity in my career."

"I really do think we should search for the fairytale ending. Why not? Let’s be real about how unreal we are!"
