A source said: "They have booked the entire venue. It will be quite a party. The wedding will be quite intimate. This will be the big event for all their friends."

It was recently reported Kate is planning a traditional white wedding.

In a bid to stack more moolah in Britney Spears’ bank accounts, her father, Jamie Spears now wants his pop star daughter to promote a furniture line.

After getting a role for the 26-year-old on ’How I Met Your Mother’, Jamie is now in talks with Danish celebrity broker Claus Hjelmbak, to launch his brand in United States, which will be promoted by Britney.

Senior Spears is in talks with Hjelmbak to "bring Danish accent pieces to the United States . . . Britney will be the face of the brand," the New York Post quoted a source, as saying.

The source also revealed that it’s been two months since Hjelmbak and Jamie Spears have been working out the deal and Hjelmbak even met Britney at the Scandinavian Style Mansion in December 2007

However, Hjelmbak has slammed all reports claiming he’s in talks with the ’Toxic’ star and said: "I am back in Denmark now."

Just wanted to check in and say hi! I’ve been on tour with my boyfriend for almost a month now. We’ve been everywhere from South Africa to all around Europe. It’s been so much fun! I’ve never felt so happy and in love, he’s such an amazing guy and life has never been better! It’s so much fun going to their shows every night, I now know every song by heart. The supermodel beat actresses Sienna Miller and Scarlett Johansson in the annual poll by Britain’s Glamour magazine, which will published in the May edition.

The Latino singer, who gave birth to twins Max and Emme in February, is reportedly losing up to 10lbs a week by getting up at 4am and hitting the gym in a bid to regain her famous figure.

A source told Britain’s Closer magazine: "Jennifer has always been a workaholic and she has applied the same attitude to her post-pregnancy regime. Because raising twins is so demanding, she gets up at 4am to fit it all in.

"She spent the last month of her pregnancy planning her regime with a team of nutritionists and personal trainers. She calls them her 120lb team in reference to her target weight. She is working out for three hours a day, seven days a week."

Jennifer, who is married to singer Marc Anthony, is also believed to have cut all carbohydrates from her diet and is surviving on 1,400 calories a day. She is eating only high-protein steamed fish or chicken and fresh vegetables.

The source added: "Jennifer doesn’t allow herself any sugar, caffeine or alcohol and she only drinks purified water."

Jackie Chan, Lee-Hom Wang, Zhang Ziyi and Stefanie Sun will team up to sing ’Stand Up,’ the theme song for ’The One,’ a film about China’s first Olympian

Producer Wang Zhebin told the Beijing Times that each singer will represent a different Chinese group - Chan, Hong Kong; Wang, Taiwan; Zhang, the mainland; and Singaporean Sun repping overseas Chinese.

Wang Pingjiu, a member of the cultural committee for the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, wrote the lyrics of ’Stand Up’ and music was composed by Shu Nan, reports Variety.

’The One’ is in post-production and will be ready for release in May.

The film, which is being made as a tribute to the 2008 Beijing Games, is based on sprinter Liu Changchun, who represented China at the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, despite the efforts of Japanese occupation forces in Manchuria to stop him.

Pop sensation Madonna is planning to adopt a baby girl from India, according to reports.

The Queen of Pop , who already has an adopted son from Africa has given up the search to adopt another one from that country, due to frustrating red tape. Instead, after enjoying a New Year holiday in India, she has decided to focus her adoption search there.

Sources close to the singer said she would fly out to adopt a baby once she has finished promoting her new album, Hard Candy. The report also says that the 49 -year-old pop icon was convinced to adopt an Indian baby by Bollywood choreographer Sandip Soparrkar, who has also adopted an Indian baby.

’’We spoke about how there are so many children in India who need homes,’’ Sandip said.

However, Madonna’s husband Guy Ritchie was thought to be against the idea of adopting another child but was eventually persuaded by his wife. She already has three kids -- a girl and two boys-- including David, the one adopted from Africa.

Madonna’s adoption of David Banda in October 2006 caused a storm of protest after it was claimed she used her fame to fast-track normal adoption procedures in Malawi.

Media reports also suggested that David’s father was unhappy with the agreement and under the impression his son would return to Malawi when he was older.

Britney Spears has been offered the chance to play Blanche DuBois in an upcoming London stage play of Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire.

The Toxic singer, who earlier this week helped CBS sitcom ’How I Met Your Mother’ achieve its highest ever rating, would be following in the footsteps of actress Vivien Leigh if she decided to play the role of tragic alcoholic Blanche DuBois.

"Britney’s been on the list for some time but was considered too risky. Her appearance in How I Met Your Mother changed all that. She had poise, timing and flair," The Daily Express quoted an insider, as saying,

"We wanted her for Blanche because while she’s technically too young, who else could embody this fallen Southern belle so well? "Britney’s done it all, from being desired beyond all others to facing ridicule that she can’t quite understand - pure Blanche.

"She’s living out the story, so to harness that on stage would be amazing for an audience to see and therapeutic for Britney, too," the insider said.And while the troubled pop star has only been offered to play the lead role, her casting has already caused uproar on the London stage.

Theatre director Brian Timoney is extremely annoyed with the idea of casting Britney because he believes that the singer can’t do justice to the role."This is an outrage. Tennessee Williams must be turning in his grave. Blanche was one of his most complex characters and the role requires a highly skilled actress to do it justice," he said.

"This is obviously a ruse to get large audience numbers."Artistically speaking, casting Britney is like giving Shakespeare to a bricklayer. She wouldn’t have got through the door at the auditions for my production," he added.

Besides banning Britney from his production, Timoney said that he will urge people to boycott her performance. "Tennessee Williams wrote characters that need extensive development and talent to portray with any sort of depth," he said.

Robert Goodman, who appeared in Martin Scorsese’s film ’Gangs of New York,’ is starring in Timoney’s production."Casting Britney as Blanche is like letting the lunatics out of the asylum," he said."She might be able to empathise with the character but you need someone who knows what they are doing to play such a complex part," he added.

The animal rights campaigner was upset when she discovered she would be starring alongside the canine in ’Superhero Movie’, because the scene goes against PETA’s guidelines for using real animals in movies.

Out for only a short while, the Rehab hitmaker returned home disappointed after being turned away from the prison for showing up late.Meanwhile, Amy’s rep has been busy over the past 24-hours denying claims that the Grammy winning singer is headed back to rehab.

The rumors kicked off after The Sun quoted a source as saying that “there are too many temptations for her in the UK - people around her in London are making it impossible for her to stay clean for any length of time. Management had considered flying her to a clinic in Israel, but are now looking further a field. They are assessing a clinic in Cape Town in South Africa.”

In response, Winehouse’s spokesperson said: “Amy’s doing well. She is not going back to rehab at this time. The problem is that her face looks bad because of impetigo - it’s not a nice thing, but it’s not related to drugs. It’s a bacterial infection.”

This will be her first public appearance since her critically mauled performance at the 2007 Video Music Awards. According to contactmusic.com, Spears has been working on dance routines at a Los Angeles-area studio for the past two weeks and insiders claim she’ll show off her new moves at the event hosted by Jack Black.

Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline says he will "always love" her and has promised to "be there" when she needs him.

Federline, who has the custody of their two sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and 18-month-old Jayden James, insists Spears will always be important to him as she is the mother of his children.

Hollywood.com quoted him as saying: "I will always love the mothers of my children, and I will always be there for both of them. I believe that any good energy I put out there brings more good energy into my own life. The relationships with my kids and family will last my whole life and are the most important to me."

And Federline is determined that his children with Spears will grow up in a happy, stable environment. He said: "Their needs define my schedule every day. It is so very important to me that my children will always know and never question, that no matter what happens, they have a mommy and daddy who love them very much."

While Federline was granted full custody of his sons last year after Spears failed to adhere to court-ordered medical tests, Spears was stripped of her visitation rights to her kids in January.

However, the two have agreed on a new deal to let Spears have limited access to her children.

Heather Mills, estranged wife of Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, lied about former British Prime Minister Tony Blair offering her peerage, says a media report.

In 2001 Mills claimed she was promised to be made a "people’s peer" and bragged that it was Blair’s initiative with support from Lord Macdonald, thesun.co.uk reports. She went on to reveal that she wasn’t sure about becoming Baroness Mills because it was "a bit odd".

An ITV documentary exposes the claim as a lie. The programme titled "McCartney vs McCartney: The Ex Files" interviewed the three Lords with names like Macdonald and none could say that they even met her. Mills made the clam to Sunday Times writer Jasper Gerard and he told the programme it was "incredible".

He said: "I was pretty gobsmacked that somebody who was essentially just a model and a bit of a part-time campaigner best known for being Paul McCartney’s girlfriend should be offered a peerage."

Gerard also said that Mills told him she had cancelled a meeting with former US President Bill Clinton in case her "endorsement" affected an US election outcome. He added: "I kept waiting for her to smile and say, ’I’m joking’ but actually no, she really did mean it."

Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse has been offered more than 350,000 pounds to perform in "the weirdest club in the world".

Thesun.co.uk reports that tycoon Aryan Tieleman confirmed that Winehouse is set to sign a deal to perform at the opening night of his new Rotterdam nightclub, Watt. He said: "It is as good as certain."

The club will open in September and will function using human power. "The energy will come from urine and sweat from the visitors, and toilets will be flushed by rainwater. The club is set in the heart of the biggest drugs circuit in Holland. It is so out there that it might even shock Winehouse," said a club source.

Though she makes millions, Winehouse’s family keeps a tight tab on all she spends.

A source said: "Winehouse is only given a couple of hundred quid each week. She is constantly borrowing off people. She doesn’t even really know the extent of her wealth since the Grammys - but it is huge. The people around her are worried she would just waste her money if she was allowed full control over it."

Amy Winehouse’s neighbors are selling up because they have had enough of the constant parties.

The troubled "Rehab" singer moved to the quiet residential street in Camden, North London, just six weeks ago but has already caused the owners of the house next door to put their property on the market.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: "The neighbors are fed up with the constant noise and rumpus." "There is always loud music and parties with people coming and going into the small hours."

"Before Amy showed up it was a peaceful street with nice, quiet, normal neighbors, now she has disrupted their lives. The owners are very concerned their property will plummet in value."

The three-floor mews house, which the owners rent out to tenants, has an asking price of $1.5 million. A spokesperson for the 24-year-old star blamed paparazzi for the disruption, saying: "Unfortunately Amy is followed by photographers wherever she goes."

"They wait outside for her at all hours of the night. Sadly, it’s not something she can do anything about." Absolutely no one saw that coming.They were married last October in Las Vegas during a 90-minute break between the magic shows in which Anderson was appearing. Really.

The famous Jackson family, which includes superstar Michael Jackson, are in the dumps with most of them sliding into obscurity.

Gary, Jermaine, Randy, Michael and Marlon formed Jackson 5, which was one of the most influential and successful vocal groups of all time. Tmz.com reports that now some of the members are working in supermarkets stocking shelves and even on cars as mechanics.

The most famous one, Michael, is about to lose his Neverland ranch as well as the family home in Encino. He is currently holed up in Las Vegas.

Brother Marlon works in the supermarket in San Diego and had to move into an extended-stay hotel with his wife while Tito formed a band and earns up to $500 to $1,500 for gigs.

Randy served as Michael’s business manager during the molestation trial but got into trouble when he made three people take out lines of credits against their homes to help Michael pay for attorney fees. Michael never paid them back.

Sister Janet seems to be the only one doing well. She has a new album out and bought her mom a house in Las Vegas in anticipation of losing the family mansion to foreclosure.

In spite of all this, their father Joe said: "We can get back out there and set the world on fire. If the Rolling Stones can still rake in the money, so too can my boys."

Just after her 24.3 million pounds settlement with McCartney, Heather accused him of failing to provide enough cash for Beatrice to go first class.

She said: "Beatrice only gets 35,000 pounds a year, so obviously she’s meant to travel B class while her father travels A class. But obviously I will pay for that."

But it has been revealed that Mills has not lived up to her claims, thesun.co.uk reports.

Mills is to fly to New York to rest after the court battle with McCartney. But her daughter will be sent home with a nanny on a Virgin jet with a 409-pound ticket, while she will fly to Los Angeles for three weeks alone in a 3,348-pound Virgin Upper Class berth.
